Apply online now for Toloa Community Fund
The annual application round for the Toloa Community Fund is closing soon and we encourage Pacific organisations to put in their applications.
Funding of $40,000 is allocated by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, to Pacific organisations working with and for Pacific communities in New Zealand.
The purpose of the fund is to encourage Pacific organisations to work with students who are pursuing studies in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Technology) subjects at secondary school, and at tertiary level, to increase the number of Pacific people employed in STEM careers.
Ministry for Pacific Peoples Chief Executive Laulu Mac Leauanae says the fund is designed for Pacific organisations, to promote and motivate Pacific people to study STEM courses and inspire them to get into a STEM career.
“The Toloa Community Fund running for its third year and we’re inviting all Pacific organisations that work with Pacific communities to apply for funding up to $2,000, to deliver STEM related activities.”
