The Ministry for Pacific Peoples has extended the application deadlines for the Toloa Tertiary Scholarships and the Toloa Community Fund until December 10, 2018.
Toloa Tertiary Scholarships: If you intend to study STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects at tertiary level, this could be an opportunity for you!
Toloa Tertiary Scholarships aim to encourage Pacific students to pursue studies in STEM subjects at tertiary level and increase the numbers of Pacific people employed into STEM-related careers. APPLY NOW HERE
Toloa Community Fund: The Ministry invites Pacific organisations that work with Pacific communities to deliver STEM-related activities, to apply for funding from the Toloa Community Fund.
Set up to promote and increase the number of Pacific peoples in STEM-related careers, the Toloa Community Fund has been allocated $100,000 in 2019 to distribute to organisations to achieve this goal and outcomes including: increased level of awareness about STEM among Pacific communities; increased number of Pacific people studying STEM subjects; and more Pacific peoples in STEM related careers.
The Ministry wants to support creative and innovative initiatives, which have high impact and will lift STEM aspirations for our Pacific communities. APPLY NOW HERE.
