  • We should all continue to keep track of where we’ve been and who we’ve seen to assist with rapid contact tracing if it is required.

  • The NZ COVID Tracer app has been updated to include Bluetooth tracing technology. Bluetooth tracing allows you to receive an alert if you have been near another app user who tests positive for COVID-19.

Practise good hygiene 

Continue the good hygiene habits that has helped restrict the spread of COVID-19 so far:

  • Wash your hands frequently

  • Cough and sneeze into your elbow

  • Clean or wipe surfaces regularly

Wear a mask or face covering on public transport

It is mandatory to wear a mask or face covering on public transport including airplanes. It helps keep you and others safe while you are out and about.
