Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora has launched a new 24/7 online GP Service.

Need a GP but can’t get an appointment? Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora has launched a new 24/7 online GP Service to help you get care when your regular doctor isn’t available — especially after hours, on weekends, or if you're not enrolled with a GP.

This service is safe, easy to use, and subsidised for those who need it most, including infants, children, young people, and Community Services Card holders. While under-14s aren’t free unless their parent has a CSC, fees are kept low to make care more accessible.

It’s not here to replace your usual GP or family doctor, but to support you when you need help quickly. If you’re enrolled with a GP, your medical notes will be shared with them to keep your care connected.

This is part of a bigger plan to improve access to healthcare, reduce wait times, and to better support Aotearoa’s families and communities.
