The Government wants state sector boards to reflect the diversity of Aotearoa, including ethnicity, gender, age and geographic location. Pacific peoples have a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to Aotearoa’s future.
The Ministry for Pacific People’s Nominations Service maintains a database of skilled Pacific peoples who are available for appointment to state sector boards and committees.
We are regularly consulted on appointments for state sector boards, committees, advisory groups and trusts and we recommend potential candidates from our Nominations database with relevant skills and experience.
Pacific peoples are much sought after for governance roles. We need skilled Pacific peoples to be considered for the many boards and committees of national significance.
The Ministry encourages people of Pacific descent to join our Nominations Service database for consideration as board vacancies arise.
